The meeting point of parallel lines !!.

     When do these parallel lines meet together??...
      
     That was my question when I was watching the endless parallel railway track ahead of me. I felt that the trees were running backwards, away from me.Along with the trees my mind also raced back in memory.

> I was impatiently running through the human ocean in the chennai central to catch my train. it seemed the stream of people flooding before me will never end.finally with much difficulty & by exhibiting the skill that will beat an Olympic gymnast, I got into my train just in time.the moment i sat down, with a loud jerk the hyderabad bound charminar express slowly howled and growled & started . 
     I settled myself down comfortably in my window seat.peacefully drank my Bislery water and took a look around.
      Suddenly I saw a short girl in bright red chudidar running frantically to get into the train.she almost flew into the train.I felt that was a funny scene.it was as if she was a big red ball rolling into the train.
    After some time the same girl came and sat in the seat before me.she closed her eyes and muttered something to herself.opened her eyes and smiled to herself.may be she was happy that she got into the running train without getting herself injured.
     Her appearance was funny to Me.she wore red dress with matching red jewelery and red footwear.her hair was straightened and was In a shade of red, Burgundy color.even her hand bag was red.i was thinking for some time, she is missing only a red nail polish.lo & behold she flashed her manicured hands with red nail polish.I felt as if my eyes might black out anytime due to exposure to too much of bright red color.
     The default Indian bachelor male attitude had not yet left me.even after last few years of marriage.pity me!!.
     I looked away to the running trees and Changing landscape.time just flew by switching between fleeting thoughts and scanning FB status and comments.
     After some time when I looked around I saw the girl sitting infront me reading a black colored diary.after a close watch I could understand it was a Bible.ooh no!! was my reaction.
     
     I was running away from everything that was spiritual.and now I am in front of a deeply spiritual lady.I couldn't help but see that she was enjoying deeply what she was reading.and that an aura of peace and calm prevailed around her.And that was what I needed most.peace...
     after some time she closed Bible and closed her eyes and started mumbling something to herself.may be in prayer.she was half smiling.she opened her eyes and I couldn't help but smile at her.she also smiled back.
without thinking my mouth opened and these words came out"are you a Christian?".once these words came out ,my mind immediately asked me  
   "what a non sense question.who else Other than a Christian will read Bible.?".
  
Is Bible read by people other than Christians??.

Need for a U-turn (an open letter to my friends)

Off late I started becoming negative, may be due to the constant exposure I was having to evil in many believers lives.Due to inconsistent lives that I have seen among those who call themselves professing Christians.Those who were using word for establishing their stand point and validating their evil deeds.spirituality as a cover for lust, back stabbing, compromising on standards and giving up Jesus for wealth.the evil that I was hearing during counseling sessions.

HS: what about Moses?.

HS: what about the one termed "rock"?.

> HS: suppose if I gave up on these people. after getting fed up with their actions like you.what would have happened?..
> Me: "Lord none of the early church fathers would be there.infact Half of old testament would be missing if you purged all of them".

Valentine thoughts !!!

              Today while crossing Jain college I felt like I am in a human traffic signal.
Full of red, green, yellow, black colors.For the uninitiated ,these are Valentine color codes.


> Green  - available and free.
> Red     - committed. 
> Yellow - waiting.
> Black  - anti-Valentine.

> >      My thoughts went to John 3:16.
"For God so Loved this world that he gave his only begotten son
that whosoever believes in him will have everlasting life".
The best quote for love.

If the Bible had to be condensed to a single sentence that is John 3:16.
if the Holy Bible had to be summarized as a single word that is Love.
God's agape love for humans !!!.

            Always its coming with a hidden expectation.
            Jesus only showed the unconditional love !!.

Jesus expressed his love in words and deeds by dying for us in the cross of Calvary.
Greatest love is that he loved us so so much that he loved and died for us even 
when we were his enemies acting against him.
Rebelling against the lovely father each day.

> >           To understand the above said statement to atleast .0001%; we need to think 
about the situation where a Pakistani soldier will die for an Indian soldier .
That too during a war between India and Pakistan.
God did more than that even;even when we did not deserve it.

yes it was fashioned by God so that humans will search for him.
But the world is trying to fill that void by humanly love which falls short, by power ,influence, money, sex, material possession, friendship, charity.
But there is nothing in this world that can fill that void.

> >       If money or sex or drugs or influence or music could fill that void then 
rock stars should have made it in life.But their names top the chart of those who committed suicide.
They searched everywhere else for filling that void except God and felt hopeless 
and committed suicide.
   Only when you encounter God in a personal manner you will fill that void by his presence.

> >    Today you might receive many roses but let the "rose of Sharon" be the only rose you accept :) .

> > The world has many love stories but the greatest love story was not written in ink. 
But it was written with the blood of the lamb in the cross of Calvary.

> > World has many love (Phileo, Eros etc), all being self centered and conditional 
and might be replaced if a better option is found. Christ showed us the most purest of all.
Selfless agape love by dying for our sins even when we were enemies.

>   > Let Jesus Christ be your only Valentine, the first love.
let none take that position in your life.
let others even spouse be your second love only.

Measure of Life !!!

   Was Jesus a success?,

   According to the 5 point success theory popular in the post modern culture.
   Was Jesus a success???.

What is a five point success theory?.
1 Nice wife
2 good children
3 BHK house
4 Wheeler
5 figure salary

1. Jesus never married.
2. No children other than spiritual children.

3. No house of his own.
4. He Was a wanderer without an own vehicle.
5. Jesus never had a salary.

His disciples more or less followed his footsteps in this aspect.

Was Jesus a success according to wordly terms?.

No.he was a failed revolutionary at his time.

Did Jesus fulfill the eternal purpose of father?. Yes yes.
He paid the price for the sin with his life and redeemed the lost humanity.

So for a disciple of Christ life is not measured with success

his life is measured by the purpose he has fulfilled.

Even if you miss out in making it big in the world. you can still be fulfilling 

the eternal purpose of God.that's what God expects from his children.

Its not about success ... its about purpose !!!.
